Prior to working with DSIM Tech, Stratom had a period of time between design and manufacturing of a particular project where they decided to take advantage of virtual prototyping in order to keep their project on time and schedule in order to prove out their design.
Rather than taking the traditional approach – where they would manufacture a physical prototype and do the testing in real life – they believed that process would completely throw off the already tight schedules of the project. Therefore, the team put their faith in the DSIM Tech team to provide them with the proper MDB simulation & findings they needed to point them in the right direction.
How are things now with Stratom since engaging with DSIM Technologies?
We’re happy to report that Stratom have made the design changes based on our simulation results.
Other areas of concern were to explore if the design would allow the vehicle to drive and function as an off road vehicle.
Setting up specific driving situations and testing the efficacy of the design was of significant importance to the team.
